On the 26th, LabGenomics announced its strategy for entering the global market in collaboration with QDx, a major CLIA lab in the U.S., during an online investor relations (IR) event. 

The presentation was led by Oh Se-jin, CFO of LabGenomics, Jo Jeong-hee, CEO of LabGenomics USA, and Tim Rich, CEO of QDx.


✅ Oh Se-jin CFO, "Last year, we acquired a top 100-ranked CLIA lab in the U.S., which sets the foundation for our American expansion. 

We are the only domestic company operating such a large CLIA lab, and we are establishing various strategic partnerships to penetrate the U.S. market."

He added, "We aim to become a company that sells and services domestic products in the U.S. by building a diverse portfolio. We expect to surpass our peak sales achieved during the COVID-19 pandemic and achieve significant growth with the CLIA lab."

The presentation also covered the expansion of AI diagnostic services and new business initiatives. LabGenomics is collaborating with QDx to leverage AI diagnostics and is exploring applications within its testing centers. 

Additionally, they plan to launch new diagnostic services for elderly-related diseases and women's health issues, responding to the aging population. The company is also considering mergers and acquisitions or strategic partnerships with firms possessing technological competitiveness.


✅ Jo Jeong-hee mentioned, "Following the successful acquisition of QDx, we are pursuing the acquisition of a second CLIA lab on the West Coast. 

This will allow us to enter various diagnostic areas, including cancer diagnostics, and achieve economies of scale and business expansion."


✅ Tim Rich noted, "QDx has the competitive advantage of providing diagnostic results within 24-48 hours. 

By integrating digital pathology and AI, we will deliver more precise and faster test results. Leveraging our sales and marketing capabilities in the Northeast U.S., we will create new opportunities in partnership with LabGenomics."
